Ann Demeulemeester Spring/Summer 2014 Ready-to-Wear Review

Sheer. That was the first word that popped into my mind was I browsed the latest Ann Demeulemeester collection. Garments like pants, tops, even full looks were fashionably translucent. The prints matched the Menswear counterpart that I blogged about here. Black and white ivy that grew gracefully over model's legs and torso. The colors also grew into browns and bright reds. I particularly loved the sheer headpieces that fluttered around each of the models. They seemed to be made of light silk, in either black or brown, later on. Each was uniquely twisted and folded to look like a hybrid of a sunhat mixed with a veil. Quite amazing.
