Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2013 Menswear Review
I'm reviewing Saint Laurent's Fall/Winter collection rather than their most latest menswear collection because I didn't actually like Saint Laurent's Spring collection, but that's just me. Plus, I'm freezing cold here in Indiana, so I'm looking for warm inspiration for my outfits. What can I say? I love my oversized knit scarves and rockabilly style as much as the next fashionisto. Actually, I adore it. I might as well just analyze every look I posted, because each one is the same theme, but so unique and interesting on their own. Plus, I added like, four extra photos than I usually do. Because I love this collection.
For this look, the black fur overcoat/shawl/cape/moto jacket is incredible. So beautiful. I can't even put in words. Well, actually I could, but I'd be wasting time. That black and red knit sweater, though. Can I just say, "Amazing!" People who know me know that I have an addiction with sweaters, especially edgy knits.

Fashion Need
My most recent need is from Forever 21. Since the weather is getting more chilly in Indiana, I absolutely need a new fall jacket. I adore moto jackets because I think they are always in style. I love the affordable prices that Forever 21 has and I'm obsessed with the fact that it comes in so many different colors!
Price: $24.80

One Year, Before and After
These photos were taken on September 14, 2012. I did a little photo shoot in my friend's backyard. To show just how much something can change over a year, I can no longer stand the person who took these photos. I realized how much I can change in one year, I have a new look, a new hairstyle, and a new outlook on life. I used to think I was the stereotypical fashionisto, and I was a hopeless romantic.
These photos below were taken September 14, 2013. Exactly one year from the first two images. These were taken at the local mall by my closest friend. She is the most loyal and amazing friend anyone could ask for. She's crazy artistic, a full hipster. I feel so much better this year, my fashion tastes are more edgy. I adore the idea of dark symbolism and high fashion, in designers like Alexander McQueen and Ann Demeuleester. My hair use to be parted and slick, with way too much gel, because I was self-conscious about my curls. Now, I embrace it. Stacking my bangs up and cutting the sides of them. I ditched the "hipster glasses" because I wore them as a mask, to hide who I truly was. I used to be a hopeless romantic, but now I no longer care about a special other person, instead fueling that energy into my close friends. I'm smarter and constantly grateful for my life.

Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear Review
Marc Jacobs' Spring/Summer collection makes me think of a 1960's dandy. A kind of historical hipster. The clothes were pastel, the hair gelled or waxed back, and the ties and other assorted accessories flourished with flower prints. The pastel colors evolved, much like the 60's, only reversed, to a more professional twist with dark and rich power suits in various grays and maroons. I personally adored the statement-making neckerchiefs around the neck and the modern and retro sunglasses.

Ann Demeulemeester Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear Review
Ann Demeulemeester's Spring Menswear collection reminded me of an Edwardian dandy in a grayscale vineyard. The collection later evolved into Victorian inspired, lightly colored ensembles. Layers upon layers were shown untucked and stylized perfectly. Along with the seemingly feminine floral prints and neck scarves, there were masculine pieces as well. For example, the sturdy fabric combat boots laced and soled with leather.
